Art has been a part of my life since early childhood. My parents recognized my art abilities and sent me for art instruction at the age of ten. It was during these classes that were the base for my thirst to create art.
I have been fortunate to have lived in some of the most beautiful and inspirational places in Canada.
Originally from Guelph, Ontario, moved to BC and then returned to Ontario in 2006.
I came to Thornbury as my sister lived here and a lot of my relatives live in Ontario.
The first thing I did was join the two local art groups and looked for a gallery to take my work on consignment. That’s when I started to be involved with the Loft Gallery where I sell my square foot paintings in their fall show. I sell so many square foot paintings during that show in November that I paint square foot paintings all year round!
My work is a reflection of my love of nature, animals and colour. The style is realistic, the media of choice is mostly acrylic but I also do the occasional watercolour and other various media.
I hope you enjoy my portfolio.
